Halvard is one of the fiercely loyal and brave warriors who followed Attlus the Conqueror from Bjorngar’s great mead hall, Frothvar, to fight in the Second Great War of Mythoss. Since the end of that war, Halvard has served as an envoy from the House of the Noble Bear to the Legions of Light. Stationed at the Castle of Four Sides, he is there when the report from Einsamall arrives. He volunteers to join the adventurers that are sent to that remote Northern settlement to investigate reports of a nameless horror that has been terrorizing its residents.
